Housing Assitance

Safe shelter is a fundamental human right. We've worked to construct and repair homes, bathrooms, and water systems for families living in extreme poverty. In some cases, we've offered housing loans and support for down payments, helping families move from insecurity to stability.

Rooftop repairs for a  couple of homes in Sistan. Due to harsh weather and lack of resources, many homes in the area suffer from significant structural damage, making them unsafe or unlivable. This assistance helped protect one family’s home from further damage during the rainy season.

One of our most inspiring initiatives began in the village of Kalpourgan, where we’re focusing on long-term empowerment through education and skill-building. This project includes computer literacy workshops, embroidery and pottery training, and a reading program to promote literacy among children. We’re also working to train qualified local instructors to continue these efforts sustainably. A portion of proceeds from our upcoming program will go directly toward this initiative.

Additional Supplies:

  • Built rooms for two families who were previously living in inadequate or makeshift housing.

  • Constructed bathroom facilities and installed water heaters for over 10 families in rural areas.

  • Assisted two families with major housing repairs.

  • Supplied heaters and essential winter supplies to families in poorly insulated homes.
