“Shahr-e Qesseh” (“City of Tales”) is a musical stage adaptation of Bijan Mofid’s classic, using humor and symbolism to portray the modern person’s search for identity and loss of self in today’s world. Produced by the Blackout theatre group and directed by Amir Naim Hosseini, it blends Iranian voice performers with non-Iranian dancers and will be performed in Ottawa.
